When your condo property is turned over to you by the developer or if you have just leased a condo unit, one thing that you’ll surely need to decide upon is what type of window covering you’ll install. You will be left to two major categories which are window curtains or window blinds. In this blog, we’ll be featuring our recent client from BGC Taguig that opted for window curtains for her condo unit. Our client opted for GT-1510 Indigo and HR-1708 which are both blackout types.

Compared to window blinds and shades (e.g. roller blinds or combi blinds), window curtains are made up of thicker fabrics and therefore will give you a better privacy and heat insulation. Curtains look gorgeous if installed ceiling to floor or up to the window sill so this is a good alternative for all glass windows which are prevalent in high end condominiums. You also need to decide whether you want to install sheer on top of the curtain so that you’ll still have some degree of privacy while letting some natural light penetrate your room.
